If you attended our 5th Annual Dr. Horrible Screening, then you no doubt heard us announce that our event for 2013 would be a bigger all-day event. Well, here’s a little taste of what we have in store.

Have you wanted the creepy visage of one of the Gentlemen from the Buffy episode ‘Hush’ grinning at you in the form of a carved pumpkin? Probably not, because you didn’t know it existed. But it does, and one lucky winner at the Dr. Horrible Sing-Along Screening this weekend will walk away with the only one

You know him as a writer and producer of amazing television such as Angel, Firefly and Supernatural. Perhaps you also know him as the creator of one of the funniest comic book/cartoon series superheroes ever, The Tick. In fact, he has a “Very Special Thanks” credit in Dr. Horrible, and if you’ve read or seen

Whedonopolis presents the “Weekend Before Halloween” charity screening of Dr. Horrible, The Guild and Husbands.
SPECIAL GUESTS: We are both thrilled and extremely giggly to announce that the fantastic BEN EDLUND, JANE ESPENSON, DOUG JONES, GREG ARONOWITZ and SEAN BECKER will be in attendance! The beneficiary this year will be Best Friends Animal Society, a grassroots organization working toward making Los Angeles a “no-kill” city by placing dogs & cats considered “unadoptable” into good homes, and reducing the number of unwanted pets through effective spay and neuter programs.

Whedonopolis.com/Fandom Charities is returning to Comic-Con 2012. And this year, they’re not coming alone!
Whedonopolis.com is proud to host Nicholas Brendon (Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Criminal Minds), J. August Richards (Angel, Conviction, Raising the Bar), as their special guests for this years blockbuster event.

We had a great time the other night hosting this event, and we want to thank all of our special guests, attendees and volunteers for making it a very fun and magical evening.
NOW DR. HORRIBLE IS HERE TO MAKE YOU QUAKE WITH FEAR!!!

…But just for one night and one night only! Yes, on Oct 30th, the night before All Hallows Eve, Fandom Charities and Whedonopolis will once again be bringing our charity screening of Dr. Horrible’s Sing-Along Blog to the big screen, along with season 3 of The Guild. No waiting for buffering pauses or squinting at a monitor the size of a gum card! We’ve got a giant screen and our very own specially edited open captioned digital version to sing-a-long to!
