It’s been a while since I’ve reviewed IDW’s mini series, Spike: The Devil You Know, by Bill Williams. Somehow, I missed getting my copy of the second issue at my local comic shop last month, but, after a heated game of kitten poker, I nabbed that rascal and we are back in business! And, trust me, you probably will want to do the same.  If there’s one IDW Angel comic doing it right, this is the one! You bring the kittens, and I’ll bring the comic!

The new season of THE VAMPIRE DIARIES kicks off tonight on The CW after a shocking cliffhanger in the series freshman season finale.  After a torturous summer long wait, we can finally get back to the complicated lives of our favorite vampire brothers, our beloved heroine and a villainess who have stolen both their hearts and the ever wary and sometimes clueless town residents which, at last count, included a witch, a teacher/vampire hunter and at least one werewolf.

Jewel Staite, who plays Kaylee on Firefly and Serenity,  will be part of the Sacramento Sci-Fi Horror Convention at the Scottish Rite Center on September 25th and 26th. She'll join a long list of guests that will include Kevin Sorbo of Hercules and Andromeda, and Billy Dee Williams (Lando Calrissian from the Star Wars series), who will appear on yhe 25th.

Recently, Juliet Landau (also known as Drusilla on Buffy the Vampire Slayer) visited San Francisco's Neon Monster pop culture store. She met with fans, signed autographs and posed for pictures.
