Catching Up On The \"Spike\" & \"Eddie\" Show: A Review Of Spike: The Devil You Know #2 & #3!

Reviews

It’s been a while since I’ve reviewed IDW’s mini series, Spike: The Devil You Know, by Bill Williams. Somehow, I missed getting my copy of the second issue at my local comic shop last month, but, after a heated game of kitten poker, I nabbed that rascal and we are back in business! And, trust me, you probably will want to do the same.  If there’s one IDW Angel comic doing it right, this is the one! You bring the kittens, and I’ll bring the comic!

“Twilight’s” Last Gleaming: Buffy #36 Review

Reviews
The final arc of Buffy season eight has begun, and Joss’ latest issue is pumping full steam ahead! Maybe it’s the feeling of the inevitable conclusion rushing towards us or the always enjoyable addition of “Spike” to the cast, but for whatever reason, this issue feels like the exact tone that Dark Horse has been going for since day one (a “Buffy” episode on a blockbuster movie budget) and damn, is it a blast!

Angel #33 Review: Cleaning House And Losing Hands

Reviews

In Angel #33  writer Bill Willingham continues his pattern of gradual improvement in the writing department, but he has still delivered several moments that require a bit of head scratching. In all fairness, Willingham uses this issue to clean up a number of small messes in the current storyline and does so fairly gracefully.

Episode Review: Supernatural 5x22 - Swan Song

Reviews

Welcome to my very, very late review of the Supernatural fifth season finale, "Swan Song." Why was this review so late? I won't bore you with the details, suffice it to say sickness slowed me down, and also I had to watch this epic episode not once or twice, but four freaking times to even try to get everything contained within. It also took me a while to formulate my thoughts on this episode, and even after four viewings, they're not fully clear. With that said, onto my review...

Episode Review: Supernatural 5x21 - Two Minutes to Midnight

Reviews

With the finale of this fifth season of Supernatural barreling down on us like a locomotive, and with only two episodes left...one realizes there's a lot to get done. Dangling plot threads need to be tied off and resolutions need to be had. Again, with two episodes left, I was...skeptical that they could pull it off, especially after the previous week's mediocre episode with Demon!Brady. How did Supernatural's penultimate fare in terms of taking care of all of this wacky stuff? Read on to find out...
