Robin Lord Taylor Talks Riddler and Penguin Scenes in “How the Riddler Got His Name”

Nygma spent the entire episode trying to prove to himself that he doesn’t need Oswald to be the Riddler. He may have discovered who is but he still doesn’t really know what that means.

Gotham 3.15- “Heroes Rise: How The Riddler Got His Name” Q & A

When Gotham returns tonight, a new villain will be born. We knew Nygma was the Riddler from the beginning, but he hasn’t introduced himself to the world, until now.

Gotham: Wrath of the Villains & 2.18- “Pinewood”

Hi guys — I’m back. Don’t worry I wasn’t held in captivity by Edward Nygma for the past 4 months, just been super busy! I’ve missed reviewing 6 episodes but to recap them quickly I can just use the Gotham Season 2 back-half tagline: “Wrath of the Villains.” Mostly I can say that these last 6 episodes were a blessing because we had no ridiculous Theo Galavan (James Frain).

Gotham 2.11 – “Worse Than a Crime”

Things really hit the fan last week when master evildoer Theo Galavan finally captured his mortal family enemy, Bruce Wayne. This week, we shall see if he really does kill him.

Gotham 2.10 – “The Son of Gotham”

Lying! Manipulation! Fights! Betrayal! Secret Monk Blood Rituals! This week’s Gotham has it all! “The Son of Gotham” finally put many long plotted storylines into motion and changed things up (either for the worse or the better).

Gotham 2.09 – “A Bitter Pill to Swallow”

This episode really was “A Bitter Pill to Swallow” because it was filled with such unnecessary violence, murder, and grit. I’m guessing Gotham is going for the “gritty, dark” type of show, despite every other inclination that it is anything but that.

Gotham 2.08 – “Tonight’s the Night”

This week, Barbara is back and with a crazy vengeance, taking Jim on a wild and fun ride of terror and insanity. Also, Ed goes on a journey, of sorts, and Bruce is given a terrible offer. Lots of good and bad happened and, dare I say, I actually am loving Barbara now?

Gotham 2.07 – “Mommy’s Little Monster”

Things are getting out of control on Gotham these days. Master manipulator Theo Galavan’s goals of becoming Mayor of Gotham and killing young Bruce have taken front seat. All other storylines, sort of, now revolve around this.

Gotham 2.06 – “By Fire”

This week’s episode of Gotham finally brought the fire, pun intended. After last week’s lackluster episode, my expectations for Gotham were at an all-time low, which is why perhaps, this episode, “By Fire,” really worked for me. It was exciting, evenly-paced and featured some great developments!
