Alexis Denisof Gets Grimm This Fall

While Alyson Hannigan is wrapping up her long run on How I Met Your Mother, her husband will be heading back to TV this fall.

Deadline has announced Alexis Denisof will be a recurring character on NBC’s Grimm when it returns in October. He’ll play Victor Beckendorf, a charming and dangerous man who’s also the first cousin to Eric Renard, Captain Renard’s brother. It’s likely he’ll be a part to what happens to Nick Burkhardt (who was last seen in a coffin as season two ended), and who will take control of the Wesen Royal Families. New episodes start October 25th.

Denisof has gotten a lot of buzz this summer starring opposite Amy Acker in Joss Whedon’s version of Much Ado About Nothing. The movie earned more than four point two million dollars in the U-S this summer, and will be released on VOD outlets Sepetember 24th, and on DVD and BluRay on October.
