Video Village: Arrow & Supernatural Return Tonight!

The long, cold winter hiatus is over!  Arrow and Supernatural return tonight with all new episodes and not a moment too soon considering the cliffhangers they left us with.

ARROW

When last we saw Oliver Queen, he and Felicity were happily celebrating their engagement, the holidays and Oliver’s hopeful mayoral campaign… and then they were attacked in their limo by a hail of bullets from Damien Dahrk’s HIVE henchmen.  Intercut with scenes of Damien Dahrk going home to his waiting family (that S.O.B. has a family!!?) we watched with dread as Oliver valiantly tried to protect Felicity with his own body and then managed to get to the wheel of the limo and drive them out of the vicious onslaught — only to find that Felicity had been badly injured and was bloody and unresponsive in the back seat.  Was she shot?  Is it fatal?  Yep, that is the hell we have been in for the past 6 weeks!  Here is what intel we have on tonight’s new episode:

Arrow 4.10 – Blood Debts

THE AFTERMATH — Oliver (Stephen Amell) must deal with the devastating consequences of Darhk’s (Neal McDonough) last attack. Seeking revenge, Oliver goes on a brutal manhunt looking for Dahrk. Jesse Warn directed the episode written by Oscar Balderrama & Sarah Tarkoff.

The hunt for what matters the most continues when Arrow returns with new episodes tonight!

Oliver goes after Darhk with everything he has when Arrow returns tonight.

And the Arrow Midseason Sizzle promo…

SUPERNATURAL

This long hiatus has not only been rough for Arrow fans, Supernatural fans were left hanging on the edge of their seats as well.  A fully grown up and out of control Amara was wreaking havoc looking for her missing brother and what’s even more disconcerting, Dean still couldn’t get a handle on the hold she has over him.  The Winchesters are once again working with Crowley and Rowena (seriously, of all the evil people in the world…) to get to the cage to have a little chat with Lucifer.  Sammy uses magic with Crowley and Rowena to have a little face time with Lucifer while Dean tracks down Amara for a little one on one that was supposed to end in her death by his hand.  Well, before you can say “Bobby’s your uncle,” Dean’s attempt to kill Amara fails, she wipes out an angel death squad and in return, Amara gets a big bolt of lightning from up above.  Is she dead?  Was that her pissed off bro, God?  And what is going on with all of these liplocks that Amara and Dean keep finding themselves sharing.

BUT WAIT, THERE’S MORE!  Back at the epic Sam / Lucifer meet-up, our beloved younger Winchester is learning some hard truths.  It was never God sending him messages in his visions, it was always Lucifer.  Yep, Lucifer is in more control than everyone thought and to prove that point, Sammy suddenly finds himself truly face-to-face with ol’ Luci — in. the. cage.  That’s right.  This cliffhanger gave new meaning to the phrase “6 weeks of hell.”  Here is what we know so far about what’s coming up for the brothers Winchester:

Supernatural 11.10 – The Devil in the Details

LUCIFER MAKES SAM AN OFFER — Now that he has Sam (Jared Padalecki) in the cage with him, Lucifer (Mark Pellegrino) offers Sam a way out but it comes with a steep price. Dean (Jensen Ackles) and Castiel (Misha Collins) look into the angel smiting that could have killed Amara (Emily Swallow). Thomas J. Wright directed the episode written by Andrew Dabb.

This is one present you can’t open until Supernatural returns tonight!

Dean will have to go to Hell and back (literally) to save Sam when Supernatural returns tonight.

Executive Producer Jeremy Carver talks about Sam’s ability to hold the devil at bay until Dean can get to him and Castiel investigating the fate of Amara.

Lucifer and Sam take a stroll down memory lane when Supernatural returns TONIGHT at 9/8c!

Be sure to check out Arrow and Supernatural tonight.
