Ruby is set to embrace her supposed destiny as Destroyer of Worlds, but it winds up going very wrong. Also, Talbot’s mission involves kidnapping an important person. A major death, and why it happens, will make things even worse
At last, Ruby had her confrontation with Daisy. However, it convinces Ruby she should stop at nothing to become the Destroyer of Worlds. Meanwhile, Fitz and Simmons spend their honeymoon time trying to find HYDRA weapons, and May tells Coulson something unexpected.
SHIELD is lost without Coulson, even when it tries to find him. Daisy tries to use Robin the Seer while three agents use their “invincibility” to free Fitz and have him find their boss. Also, General Hale is out of uniform, and two familiar faces pop up.
This week, there’s some doubt who are the real heroes.
Stress from trying to seal the crack in reality is getting to Fitz. His dark side from the Framework appears, demanding he “finish” what they started.It winds up showing SHIELD is cracking in their efforts to save Earth.
Meanwhile, Coulson finally meets General Hale. who claims she’s trying to save Earth from SHIELD. The final scene hints she could be wrong.
SHIELD needs more gravatonium to hold back the crack in reality, and they get someone who is an old friend of Mack’s to help out. Also, Ruby makes a new “friend” and Deke shows he’s more helpful than anyone expected.
