This week’s Once Upon A Time was Zelena-centric, which I never mind, as Zelena (Rebecca Vader) is one of the highlights of the show for me lately.
After what feels like forever, the Charming’s are finally both awake and reunited!
What many of Jennifer Morrison’s fans likely already know from following her on Twitter, Facebook or Instagram is she’s a very busy woman! When she isn’t working long hours in her role as Emma Swan on Once Upon A Time, in recent years she’s been busying herself trying on new hats, as director and producer.
As one would expect with an episode title like “Sisters,” this episode focused on our favorite Once Upon A Time siblings – Regina and Zelena. Their relationship has alternated between hatred and hesitant tolerance over the years. It looks like with a little help from their mother, their relationship finally sees a turning point in this episode. Will it be for better or for worse?
This week on Once Upon A Time viewers learn that sometimes the best love matches can come from two villains! Hades and Zelena meet in Oz and sparks are flying almost immediately. Whose side is Zelena on now and what happened between her and Hades?
This week’s episode featured a much awaited reunion between two fan favorite characters! The journey in the Underworld, or as Regina dubbed it “Underbrooke,” continues with the search for Hook. This week Emma gets some help from an unexpected source, Milah – Rumpel’s ex-wife and Hook’s ex-lover. Juicy!
The heroes’ journey in the Underworld continues this week on Once Upon A Time with the ongoing effort to find and save Hook. This week we met new characters (Hercules) and were reunited with familiar faces (Cruella). Hades is up to no good and Hook is paying the price.
Last night Once Upon A Time returned for the second half of it’s 5th season (and it’s 100th episode!!) with a new episode and a change of scenery for the Storybrooke crew. This time the group journeyed to the Underworld, to try to save Hook from his untimely demise in the Winter finale. Will Emma, Regina and the rest of the heroes be successful? What new villains await them in the Underworld?
Let me preface my review of the Once Upon A Time midseason finale by saying that I love this show and I really wanted to love this half season. There were a number of things wrong with this season and they all culminated in the mid-season finale.
This weeks episode of Once Upon A Time was actually a double feature with two episodes shown back to back. The two episodes didn’t seem to have much in common, but we did learn some important new things from the episodes. It seems the Dark One is now actually the Dark ONES!
