Gotham: Wrath of the Villains & 2.18- “Pinewood”

Hi guys — I’m back. Don’t worry I wasn’t held in captivity by Edward Nygma for the past 4 months, just been super busy! I’ve missed reviewing 6 episodes but to recap them quickly I can just use the Gotham Season 2 back-half tagline: “Wrath of the Villains.” Mostly I can say that these last 6 episodes were a blessing because we had no ridiculous Theo Galavan (James Frain).

Gotham 2.04 – “The Strike Force”

The Joker is gone, Theo Gavalan’s (James Frain) plans were revealed, and Jim (Ben McKenzie) seemed to be doing OK. This week, the pace slows and falters a bit. I want Gotham to keep up the momentum, but it seems they are losing steam.

Gotham 2.03 – “The Last Laugh”

It’s the third episode of Gotham’s Second Season and it’s showing no signs of slowing down!

Gotham 2.02 – “Knock, Knock”

The Gotham show creators weren’t just joking around when they said that Season 2 was going to hit the ground running! It’s only the second episode of the season and we already have the death of a major character. Plus, lots of villains, insanity, chaos, and cheerleaders getting blown up on a bus!

Review: Gotham 1.05 – “Viper”

Gotham needs to decide what type of show it is going to be: gritty and realistic or over-the-top and cartoonish. Because the mash up of gritty and cartoonish is unsettling.
