I’ve been loving Legacies so far, and the midseason finale was the best episode by far. Julie Plec is bringing everything we love from The Vampire Diaries and The Originals into her new show and walking us down memory lane, as well.
Turns out the monster of the week ties into a much bigger story arc, and that arc involves Landon.
Julie Plec keeps leaving us wanting more as the credits fade in. It’s hard not to just want to press play on the next episode, and then you realize, you have to wait until the next one airs.
We are two episodes in and I’m already in love with Legacies. I love the characters. I love that we are still in the world of The Vampire Diaries and The Originals, and I love the Harry Potter vibes. My only complaint is that we can’t just binge watch every episode now.
A new chapter of The Vampire Diaries / The Originals world is coming our way on Thursday, October 25, 2018. We all knew this day would come, the final season of The Vampire Diaries. Julie Plec and the cast were feeling grateful and sad as they did their final press room at San Diego Comic Con. Executive Producer Plec was joined by Ian Somerhalder, Paul Wesley, Candice King, Kat Graham, Michael Malarkey, Zach Roerig and Matthew Davis. […]
Damon is back and determined to reunite with Elena, while Bonnie is stuck in pergatory with Kai and Caroline and Stefan are forced into an unwanted trade with deadly consequences.
Damon! Damon! Damon!
After this episode, the show has definitely turned the corner back to the heart of what I loved so much about this series.
I’m not sure I would consider where our characters are living as paradise, but, hey, who am I to judge?
