Much Ado BJoss Whedon’s version of Much Ado About Nothing has been one well-traveled movie over the past few weeks. So far, it’s been to Texas, Istanbul, Ireland (where it won a prize), the UK and Canada. This past weekend, the movie was in two film festivals. WonderCon 2013: The WonderCon Experience- Day 2 & 3

So it’s all over now. WonderCon 2013 ended with the super-fun Dr. Horrible’s Sing-Along Blog put on by none other than Whedonopolis. And I’m not just saying that because I got to hand out the grr-arghs and, ya know, write blogs for this site. I can’t help but get giddy when I sing along to Joss Whedon classics with hundreds of people.

It’s a rare event when Joss Whedon holds two separate panels during the same day at Comic-Con. On Friday, a few hours after he celebrated the tenth anniversary of Firefly in Ballroom 20, he returned to talk about some other stuff he’s been doing.

Slayage Conference Brings Whedon Scholars to Vancouver

 

Whedon fans and scholars, including members of the Whedon Studies Association, will gather on University of British Columbia’s Vancouver campus from July 12 to 15 for the fifth bi-annual Slayage Conference.
