Hi guys — I’m back. Don’t worry I wasn’t held in captivity by Edward Nygma for the past 4 months, just been super busy! I’ve missed reviewing 6 episodes but to recap them quickly I can just use the Gotham Season 2 back-half tagline: “Wrath of the Villains.” Mostly I can say that these last 6 episodes were a blessing because we had no ridiculous Theo Galavan (James Frain).
Things are getting out of control on Gotham these days. Master manipulator Theo Galavan’s goals of becoming Mayor of Gotham and killing young Bruce have taken front seat. All other storylines, sort of, now revolve around this.
After last week’s eye-smashing episode, Gotham showed that it could be a show of unpredictability and change. Hopefully it can keep up this momentum.
This week, the repercussions of Harvey Dent’s threats to Lovecraft result in a killer team of assassins, led by a leggy, vicious woman, to find the key witness to the Waynes murders, our beloved Selina Kyle.
This week, we get Harvey Dent aka “Two-Face” entering the scene as a young ADA, while Jim plans a play date for Bruce & Selina at Wayne Manor.
